Itinerary
Sat - An early start as we make our way to Dover to catch our crossing to Calais. We then head to our overnight hotel in Orleans.
Sun - After breakfast we depart the hotel and continue our journey to our main stay hotel in Roses where you will receive an alcoholic welcome drink on arrival.
Mon - We spend our day relaxing and getting our bearings in lovely Roses. You can make use of the excellent leisure facilities at our hotel, sunbathe on some of the most attractive and least crowded beaches of the Costa Brava, or you can explore the old town of Roses.
Tue - This morning we embark on a relaxing one-way cruise from Roses to Cadaqués.
Upon arrival we enjoy an afternoon at leisure, exploring Cadaqués’ maze of pretty, narrow streets that tumble down to the water, and stylish art galleries that mingle with the souvenir shops, cafés and seafood restaurants.
Wed - Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace in the picturesque coastal town of Roses. Take in the stunning seafront views with a relaxing stroll along the promenade, explore local cafés and boutiques, or simply unwind on the golden sands of the beach. If you prefer to stay close to home, the hotel offers excellent leisure facilities including an inviting outdoor pool – perfect for a refreshing dip or some quiet time in the sun.
Thu - After breakfast, we head out on a scenic excursion to the charming medieval village of Pals. Wander through its cobbled streets, admire the well-preserved stone architecture, and soak up the views from the town’s hilltop vantage points. With its rich history, quaint shops, and picturesque atmosphere, Pals offers a delightful taste of traditional Catalonia.
Fri - Make the most of another leisurely day in beautiful Roses. You might choose to revisit your favourite spots from Wednesday or discover something new – perhaps a seaside lunch with a view, a visit to the local marina, or a gentle hike up to the Castell de la Trinitat for panoramic views over the bay. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, exploring the town, or simply soaking up the sunshine, it’s the perfect chance to fully unwind and embrace the laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere.
Sat - After breakfast we depart the hotel and commence the journey of retracing our steps back to our overnight hotel in Orleans.
Sun - Enjoy our last breakfast on this fantastic holiday before heading back to the Port in Calais. We cross back to Dover and make our way home.
