Thu – Overnight North Sea Ferry
Begin your festive getaway with a morning departure by coach, making a stop en route for lunch before continuing to the port. In the afternoon we board the overnight North Sea ferry. Settle into your cabin for a comfortable night at sea. Dinner and evening refreshments are included on board, allowing you to relax and arrive refreshed the following morning.
Fri – Arrival in Germany & Rüdesheim
After arrival at Rotterdam, continue by coach through scenic Germany to the picturesque Rüdesheim am Rhein, arriving at the Hotel Felsenkeller. Settle into your room, all equipped with walk-in showers, before enjoying a three-course dinner in the hotel’s main restaurant to start your festive stay in comfort and style.
Sat – Rhine Valley Christmas Markets
After a hot and cold buffet breakfast, spend a full day exploring the Rhine Valley Christmas markets. Visit charming towns along the river, including Assmannshausen, Bacharach, and Oberwesel, each offering festive market stalls, local crafts, and seasonal treats. Return to Rüdesheim in the late afternoon and enjoy dinner at the hotel, followed by an optional evening stroll through Rüdesheim’s Drosselgasse, alive with Christmas lights and seasonal cheer.
Sun – Heidelberg and Mainz Christmas Markets
After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Heidelberg to explore its picturesque old town and Christmas market. Continue to Mainz, enjoying its riverside market, festive lights, and seasonal delights. Return to Rüdesheim in the evening for a relaxing dinner, where you can soak up the cozy ambiance and warm hospitality of the hotel.
Mon – Return via North Sea Ferry
Following breakfast, we leave Rüdesheim and begin a scenic journey back towards Rotterdam, with a comfort break en route to break the journey. On arrival, we board the return North Sea ferry crossing to the UK. Enjoy an evening meal on board before settling into your cabin. The following morning (1st Dec), breakfast is included before we disembark and continue our journey home, with a comfort break along the way.
