Itinerary

Fri – Depart from the local area and travel to the Isle of Wight, crossing by ferry to reach the charming Bembridge Coast Hotel for a three-night stay. Once the property of George V’s Lord in Waiting and a favourite spot of the late Queen Mother during Cowes Week, the hotel overlooks the Solent and provides a perfect base for exploring the island. Upon arrival, settle in and take in the surroundings before enjoying your evening meal.

Sat – Enjoy a full day scenic tour of the Isle of Wight, discovering its picturesque towns, rolling hills, and 57 miles of stunning coastline. Our tour crosses the heart of the island to Ventnor on the south-east coast, then follows the coastal road past the beautiful Freshwater Bay, before stopping in the historic coastal town of Yarmouth. This is a day full of breathtaking views and island charm.

Sun – Spend the day at leisure, enjoying the hotel’s excellent facilities. Take a dip in the indoor heated swimming pool*, try activities such as archery, indoor bowls, or rifle shooting* with tuition from the friendly team, or take a long coastal walk to soak in the scenery. In the evening, enjoy dinner followed by live music and dancing in the hotel’s Late Lounge.

Mon – After a leisurely breakfast, we check out and commence our homeward journey, bringing with us memories of a relaxing and scenic island escape.
