Itinerary
Monday – Travel to Aberfoyle
You travel to Aberfoyle on Monday and check into the Rob Roy Hotel. After settling in, you can unwind from the journey with a drink in the bar or a gentle walk around the grounds. With no scheduled activities, the evening is free to relax, enjoy dinner and prepare for the days ahead.
Tuesday – Luss, Tarbet and Arrochar
On Tuesday, you head towards the western shore of Loch Lomond, starting with a visit to the postcard perfect village of Luss. You can explore the pretty streets, take photos from Luss Pier and admire the views of Ben Lomond. You then continue to Tarbet for more dramatic scenery, afterwards, you travel to Arrochar, surrounded by rugged hills, before returning to the Rob Roy Hotel for a relaxed evening.
Wednesday – Duke’s Pass, Loch Katrine and the Trossachs
On Wednesday, you enjoy the scenic drive over the Duke’s Pass, Subject to weather and winter conditions. Your destination is Loch Katrine, where you can take a gentle shoreline walk, enjoy the peaceful surroundings or warm up in the café at Trossachs Pier. You then return to Aberfoyle to unwind before dinner at the hotel.
Thursday – Callander, Bracklinn Falls and Killin
On Thursday, you visit Callander, browsing its shops and enjoying a morning coffee. If conditions allow, you may walk to Bracklinn Falls to view the dramatic gorge and waterfall. Later, you continue through Strathyre and Lochearnhead to reach Killin, where the impressive Falls of Dochart offer excellent views and photo opportunities. After taking in the scenery, you return to Aberfoyle for your final night.
Friday – Travel Home
On Friday, you check out of the Rob Roy Hotel and begin your journey home.
