Itinerary
Arrival & Festive Welcome - Today we will travel to the Isle of Wight and arrive at the Trouville Hotel in the afternoon. Enjoy a warm welcome with tea, coffee and mince pies. This evening, we will enjoy dinner in the restaurant, followed by music and dancing in the ballroom.
Christmas Eve – After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day at your own pace, with time to relax or explore Sandown’s promenade and pier. This afternoon, gather in the lounge for tea, coffee and traditional Christmas cake followed by a heart-warming service of Christmas carols.
Dinner is served in the restaurant, followed by a festive evening of entertainment with music and dancing in the ballroom.
Christmas Day - Enjoy a relaxed morning before joining fellow guests for a glass of sparkling wine, accompanied by Christmas carols and a visit from someone special. A traditional Christmas Lunch is served in the restaurant at 1.00pm.
At 3.00pm, gather in the lounge for the King’s Speech, followed at 4.30pm by tea and coffee. The afternoon continues with the Bumper Quiz of 2026. This evening, enjoy a light supper served in the restaurant, followed by gentle seasonal entertainment to round off Christmas Day.
Boxing Day - Following breakfast served in the restaurant between 8.00 and 9.30am, enjoy a free morning at leisure before Afternoon Tea at 1.30pm with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones served on traditional three-tier stands, followed by Boxing Day Dinner at 7.00pm and an evening of music and dancing in the ballroom with prize giving for quiz winners.
27th December – Scenic Isle of Wight Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed scenic coach drive showcasing the natural beauty of the Isle of Wight. Travel through picturesque countryside and charming villages, with views of the island’s stunning coastline and rolling landscapes. The route will include time to explore Godshill, one of the island’s most attractive villages, famous for its thatched cottages, historic church and quaint local shops. There will be free time to browse, enjoy a coffee or simply soak up the peaceful winter atmosphere. Returning to the Trouville Hotel later in the afternoon, you’ll have time to relax before dinner in the restaurant, followed by evening entertainment as part of your Christmas & Twixt celebrations.
28th December – Driver’s Discretion Outing
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed coach outing with visits chosen at the driver’s discretion. The day will include time at a select number of locations on the Isle of Wight, allowing for gentle exploration and free time to enjoy local towns or villages. Your driver will plan the day to suit weather conditions and the pace of the group, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience during the quieter Twixt period. Return to the Trouville Hotel later in the afternoon with time to relax before dinner in the restaurant, followed by a party night.
29th December – Departure
After a final breakfast, depart the Trouville Hotel and begin the journey home, taking with you wonderful memories of a festive Christmas & Twixt break on the Isle of Wight.
