Home of the famous vet, this is where James Herriot worked and wrote his books, from which several television and film adaptations have been made, including the 1975 film All Creatures Great and Small and the BBC television series of the same name.

Sun - After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head to the well-known and popular town of Grassington. Fans of the 2021 television series of All Creatures Great and Small will recognise the beautiful landscape from the fictional market town of Darrowby – which was filmed in Grassington. We rejoin the coach in the afternoon for our journey home.
