Itinerary

Sun - We begin our relaxing getaway with a scenic journey to the charming town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Spend a leisurely afternoon exploring at your own pace, enjoy a stroll along the River Avon, take in the historic timber-framed buildings, browse independent shops, or relax with a coffee in one of the many welcoming cafés.

Later in the afternoon, we make our way to the elegant Chesford Grange Hotel, nestled in the Warwickshire countryside. Check in and unwind, perhaps enjoy the peaceful surroundings or make use of the hotel’s inviting leisure facilities. In the evening, sit down to a delicious dinner before settling in for a restful night.

Mon - After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we set off to explore the dramatic and atmospheric Kenilworth Castle, one of England’s most romantic historic sites. Once a mighty medieval fortress and later transformed into an Elizabethan palace, the castle tells stories of royal intrigue and devotion most famously the grand love affair between Queen Elizabeth I and Robert Dudley.
Wander through the impressive red sandstone ruins, stroll the beautifully recreated Elizabethan Garden and enjoy sweeping views from the tower offering a real sense of the castle’s former splendour.

From there, we travel to the elegant town of Royal Leamington Spa, known for its Regency architecture, wide tree-lined avenues, and tranquil charm. You’ll have time at leisure to explore as you wish, browse the town’s stylish shops and galleries or enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the many inviting cafés or restaurants.

In the afternoon, we rejoin our coach and begin the journey home, returning refreshed and enriched by a delightful blend of history, beauty, and relaxation.
