Chesterhouse Hotel, Douglas
Ideally situated on the seafront in Douglas, this hotel features comfortable en suite accommodation with a full range of modern facilities and in-room accessories. Douglas and all of its amenities, including an extensive shopping area and variety of bars and restaurants, are a short walk from the hotel.

 

Itinerary

Sun -  We start our journey by making our way to Heysham to make the crossing to Douglas. We continue to the hotel for our evening meal.

Mon - After breakfast we enjoy a ride on the Manx Electric Railway, a single journey from Douglas to Laxey and the Laxey Wheel. The Laxey Wheel is built into the hillside above the village. It is the largest working waterwheel in the world. We then board the Snaefell Mountain Railway. We join at Laxey for the return to the Summit where we take in the stunning views of the Island.

Tue - This morning we board the Isle of Man Steam Railway and take the journey from Douglas to Castletown with free time to explore.

Wed - Today your day will be at leisure to explore Douglas, here you can visit the Manx Museum, or take a delightful horse carriage ride. Douglas boasts two main shopping centres The Strand & Tower House for you to grab yourself a bargain or a little  holiday souvenir.

Thu - After breakfast we re-trace our steps for the homeward journey making the crossing from Douglas to Heysham onboard the Manxman, which will take approximately 3 hours 45 minutes.

Onboard the Manxman, you'll find a variety of amenities aimed at making your trip comfortable and enjoyable. Relax in their luxurious lounges, unwind in spacious cabins, and savour delicious meals in their onboard restaurants.
